Don’t Lose It

Panic and anxiety are contagious. If you spend a lot of time hanging around people who are constantly embracing panic and anxiety, chances are you will find yourself in the same boat before you know it! Panic causes you to lose your head; anxiety causes you to lose your mind. Both are interrelated, hence you must keep them at bay.

Stop engaging in discussions that encourage anxiety. Stop meditating on issues that cause you grief. Stop comparing your life to the lives of others. Stop detesting the pace of your life. Things may not be going the way you want, but you must keep your head. Keep your head so you can sort through the clutter in your life. Keep your head so you can think straight. If you let anxiety rule your thoughts, you will never get anything done. It’s like getting drunk to escape your problems. The escape is temporary, but the problem persists until you solve it.
